Valegren Roundtour

The Valegren tour starts in Hällefors and takes you over a section of the river containing many lakes, with beautiful views and scarce civilization. This unknown tour is even perfect for discovering hidden spots in the corners of the various lakes.
With only a few wild camps(shelters) along the way the tour provides many unspoiled nature where you can camp nearly anywhere you want, whether it is on beaches, islands or peninsulas. Silence and tranquillity are your neighbours!
You end this tour back in Hällefors again, or you can possibly be picked up, after sms contact during your tour. On the biggest part of this tour you will probably only encounter our canoes and kayaks due to the relatively unknown paddle area.
- Duration 5-15 days.
-The shortest length is 65 km, with extensions approx up to 120 km.
- The 5 - 7 portages(depending on route) are not difficult and not too long (longest 900 meter)
- You can start our tours on any day of the week and we do not have a season surcharge!
- Appropiate tour for families with older children.
- Children on tour in canoe, up to 15 years, receive a 50% discount! (with at least 2 adults) In canoe with one adult 25% discount. Children up to 15 years in Kayak 25% discount! (1 child per adult)
- Naturecard(obligatory for Svartälven) is included in our prices!
- Even possible to paddle this tour as an extension of the North- or West- Svartälven, or a part of them. (then 11-15 days)

We are located just 1 km from the center of Hällefors and centrally located for wilderness adventures. Near Svartälven, Silverleden, the nature reserve Knuthöjdsmossen and Grythyttan. An ideal starting point or destination for your canoe, kayak, hiking trip or one of our other outdoor activities!
